Venice

Ah, Venice… is undoubtedly the most romantic city of the world! The city has been built into the lagoon on the small islands that are the top north of Adriatic Sea. The long history of this city is well related to the one of the country. During the Middle Age, in fact, Venice became an important and flourishing trade port between Byzantine Empire and Europe. Its immense navy was the key of such power over the sea. The city, for this reason, is also called the Queen of the Adriatic Sea. Because of its history related to the Crusades, to Middle East specifically, the city has a peculiar architecture that mixes Arab details with Roman construction. Because of Venice’s particular charm, the city is visited every year by thousands of tourists from all over the world. The narrow streets that end in the channels where the boats are used to move around instead of cars, make of this place a unique and spectacular location, fit to set a wedding or any particular celebration. Our tours will take you to discover this city, its history, and the historical Italian culture that hides behind the fuss of the everyday routine. You will experience a special lunch within a gondola trip, and that is just one of the many things to be done in this city. Every February the city holds a spectacular carnival festival where everybody is asked to wear masks. The tradition of Carnival in Venice dates back into time, but today the happening is probably more important and meaningful than the past. The classical masks of two hundred years ago are still worn today, along with listening to some of the best Baroque of all times as Antonio Vivaldi was from this city. Vivaldi’s music is still a must hear, especially if you decide to walk the quiet calle roads in the old city of Venice.
